In this introduction we'll talk about what CloudFormation is at a high-level. Note, video is more theoretical than practical hands-on like most other videos. It's quite useful though for those who are just getting started.

We'll provide background context on the general Infrastructure Orchestration Landscape:

Declarative Tools: AWS CloudFormation, Hashicorp Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, Google Deployment Manager
Procedural Tools: AWS CDK, Pulumi

Then we'll take a look at what CloudFormation is and show some code examples.
